You've heard us say it before but working in our neighborhood, the North End of Boston somehow is always a little extra special to us. Not only do we love seeing our fellow North Enders happy and in love, but it never fails that once we meet people booking their wedding, that then we see them and their families all of the time!!! It's wonderful sharing such a special day!
Tia and Paul were married at Sacred Heart Church in North Square and danced the night away at The Royal Sonesta, it was a perfect day! But I'll let them tell you their story...(but don't forget to watch the day of slideshow and scroll all the way day to check out the incredible vendors from the day!)
Tell us how you first met- who, what, when, where, why? Give us the dirty details-
We grew up together. We've known each other our whole lives and started dating in high school. We shared the same group of friends in from middle school on. Thankfully our two friends convinced us to start dating when we were in high school
When did you know he/she was the one? Was there something he/she did? etc-
I think we can both agree that we can't remember not knowing we would be together. I know I knew for sure that paul was the one before I graduated from college. At that point, we'd already completed so many accomplishments together and I couldn't imagine not having him by my side.
Tell us about the proposal. Did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning? how did you feel? nervous, excited, freaking out?-
Apparently Paul had been planning this for a while but I had no idea it would happen that day. Paul worked really hard to come up with a plan to surprise me and I parked in a tow zone and managed to get my car towed and screw up all of Paul's plans for the day. Long story short-Paul proposed in a tow lot in Roxbury and it was perfect. When we got home to tell my mom and grandmother, all of our friends and family were at my house waiting to surprise me! They were all in on the plan.
Tell us the one thing you love most about each other-
Paul has the biggest heart of anyone I know. He's does everything to keep me (and our dogs) happy..laundry and dishes included! -Tia
I love that no matter what happens, Tia always finds a way to make me laugh.-Paul
If you feel comfortable, share with us something silly or quirky the other person does-
Tia is always so confident that she knows every lyric to every song but usually she just makes up all the words.-Paul
Paul thinks he can dance and will often try to prove it, hopefully there won't be too many pictures of that!-Tia
Besides getting married, what's the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?
We can't wait to have all of our friends and family together to celebrate our wedding. Also, we can wait to see each other in church! I think that's when it will feel real!!
